IPL/Photo Rejuvenation

Intense pulsed light ( IPL) or Photo Rejuvenation is a non-ablative technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes. Photo rejuvenation is the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, facial redness, and thread veins).

Patients who will best benefit from photo rejuvenation are patients with rosacea or those patients with red, flushed faces, and sun damaged or hyperpigmented skin.  After each session, you can experience improvement in skin tone and texture.  IPL can improve the appearance of enlarged pores and decrease facial redness and/or brown spots.  A total series of 5 treatment sessions performed a month apart is usually needed for optimum results.  A great benefit of IPL is that usually, no downtime is required, and the procedure can be done quickly and safely with few side effects.
